FamLoot is a family task and reward management app designed to help parents and children work together toward goals. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Account information: Email address and full name when you register.
Family data: Family name, family member names, ages, avatars, and roles (parent/child).
Task & reward data: Tasks created, completion notes, photos uploaded as proof, rewards, and point/money balances.
Device data: We store a family code and role preference locally on your device (localStorage) for child login convenience.
Usage data: Basic analytics to improve the app experience (no personally identifiable data shared with third parties).
3. How We Use Your Information
To provide and improve the FamLoot service.
To allow family members to collaborate on tasks and rewards.
To send important account-related notifications (e.g. PIN reset emails).
We do not sell your data to third parties.
We do not use your data for advertising.
4. Children's Privacy
FamLoot is designed for family use and may be used by children under parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without parental consent. Child profiles are linked to a parent account and are controlled by the parent. Children log in via a PIN on a shared family device — no email address is required from children.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on the Base44 platform. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted storage and secure connections (HTTPS). PINs are stored as hashed values and are never readable in plain text.
6. Photo Uploads
When a child submits a task with a photo as proof, that photo is uploaded and stored securely. Photos are only visible to members of your family group. You can delete task data at any time from the app.
7. Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated personal data, family data, tasks, rewards, and uploaded files will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

9. Third-Party Services
FamLoot is built on the Base44 platform. By using FamLoot, you also agree to Base44's terms and privacy practices. We do not integrate with third-party advertisers or data brokers.
